My life has been a tapestry woven with diverse threads – a Master’s in Marketing, a Civil Engineering background, and a rich 20-year tenure in Project Management. In my professional zenith, I’ve flourished as a corporate trainer and online course creator, cultivating a thriving global community of over 26,000 students across 160 countries.
Yet, it was the personal challenges, the unspoken trials of a burned-out parent, that reshaped my journey. Amid the relentless pursuit of work-life balance, I found myself grappling with parental burnout. The project management strategies that once orchestrated corporate success seemed ill-equipped to harmonise the demands of work and family life.
Then, adversity struck a more personal chord – a dual battle with COVID-19. In those solitary moments of recovery, I discovered a lifeline in Yoga. Breathing techniques, which were mere survival tools against the virus, unfurled a new dimension of existence. This serendipitous encounter with yogic practice ignited a curiosity that became a fervent quest.
I immersed myself in an intensive Yoga Teacher Training course, a crucible that tempered my spirit and taught me the profundity of self-awareness. The more I delved into the study of Yoga, the more I learned about myself – and the more I realised that true change indeed begins from within. Yoga brought clarity to my chaos, solutions to my challenges, and wellness to my world.
